I am overwhelmingly unsurprised by the political hellscape that is the USA right now. I spent years screaming into the abyss about where we've been headed, as did many others, to no avail. I can't even be angry anymore. There's no fuel left in the tank for it. Is this nihilism or tremendous burnout?
