does anyone know what's the name for this type of enclosure and where to find them? i've been looking for a sloped box for a project, but no luck, they all have a very long sloped face, but i want something like this thing. thank you!

i don't understand how this makes sense statistically. i'm playing the same, or it feels like the same, but every once in a while, after i reach a new high, the next few days i'm dragged down like 200 points, and i am not tilted. i'm playing calmly, but am outplayed consistently. then it normalises

finally found what looks like real TL082s out there:
the rising edge is quite wonky and the transitions are as well, so, maybe this is a rejected real one that didn't pass QC or something? whatever this is, it's much more usable than the crappy stuff i had before: bsky.app/profile/anth...

so i'm working on an Fm transmitter and receiver for this semester's project. i've made two antennas and tuned them with the help of the nanoVNA, which show them to be quite usable, individually, but when i connect both antennas to the VNA, to see S11 and S21 frequency shifts, and i have no idea why

i made a little stand thingy for the nanoVNA. i thought making a stand for it would be too hard, but i was cutting wire for an antenna and i had this little idea. pretty happy with this silly little thing

i built the same circuit you drew and at 350KHz the response is laughably different. to get similar looking waveforms i had to drop the frequency to 13KHz. the slew rate is pretty much bang on 0.5V/us. absolute ripoff! thank you for taking the time to build that, confirmed this is not a TL08x💀

this is not what is expected from a TL082 op amp, right? the slew rate is ~0.5V/us. set up with a gain of 10 i should expect to see about 17dB at around 300KHz with a TL082, right?. this isn't even close, yay only having access to counterfeit everything in this hellhole!

i kept poking at it and asking on the eevblog forum for help, and i thought maybe i broke a solder joint or something in the BLT board, so i just heated it up to a toasty solder-melting range, and by luck or whatever, the boot process was getting closer to a full boot. weird errors, but something!

i put the scope back together thinking i would still use it like that until i got a replacement for that IC, but after a little while it failed and wouldn't boot again. looking at it with my other scope, this was as far into the boot process as it got to
