I think it's even more apparent when you have the Dark Suit, which has lining on the sides that I personally find evocative of, like, the detailing between a really buff guy's ribs in illustrations

the Prime 2 save animation is just. absolutely fucking killer. two decades later I still get this giddy feeling in my chest every time. she's so fucking cool. there's so much personality in a simple 10-second animation and she is just SO COOL, go blow them up queen!!
