First Worcester Critical Mass of 2026, followed by a Room to Ride workshop.

10:15 meet Cafe Viaduct, come and have a natter gentle roll around the city centre, suitable for all, no set route (whoever’s at the front chooses the route).

👍🏼❤️🚲🙂

Website is here: www.bikeworcester.org.uk

We’re about enabling and encouraging more people to travel by bike, but this involves a fair bit of work looking at road danger and risk.

We collect data, and review LA police data through FOIs.

We work hard to be the most informed people in the room.

🚨 620,000 songbirds were illegally trapped and killed in Cyprus in autumn 2024 alone.

A new report by @birdlifecyprus.bsky.social reveals mist net trapping is on the rise in the Republic of Cyprus, driven by organised trappers.

Action is needed now.

City and County Councillor Andrew Cross @acwr.bsky.social is quoted at length in today’s Worcester News. He spoke about live maps that show the extent of sewage polluting rivers including the Severn in real time: www.worcesternews.co.uk/news/2489126...

@worcswt.bsky.social although it doesn't look like it we'll soon have the first sunny warm day when the first bees will emerge from bee hotels. Its a good idea to gently spring clean the exits - get rid of spider's webs and debris. Check for European Orchard Bees if you are south of Worcestershire.

The NHS operates with many charities who provide 'free to the NHS support'.

Air Ambulance, Freewheelers etc

As privatisation increases there will be a tipping point for volunteers who's altruistism won't stretch (shouldn't stretch) to support shareholders.
"The Green Party has always proudly defended the NHS against creeping privatisation."

@adrianramsay.bsky.social reacts to Keir Starmer’s plans for greater use of the private sector in the NHS.
