Thanks for stating this. I noticed this in Project 2025. The opening paragraphs in each topic state a problem based on untruths, false claims or myopic understandings of the issue. Then they lay out a solution to the false premise. It’s nuts.

As they were chatting about AI, I was trying to fact check via grok. E.g., the crime & bank teller comments were just wrong. Bs on violent crime in immigrant communities. Yes, more tellers vs 1970s (not by much & they’re declining rapidly) but tellers per bank is about 50% less. Smooth talking bs.

A reminder that it take 1,000 billions to make a trillion. We need a little revenue increase and some trimming of expenses, like the DOD, to solve a 2 trillion deficit.

Ackman irks me beyond pale. You should look at his proposal on the GSEs. It’s gonna be the biggest grift ever. The GSEs owe 190 billion and he (and others) want to have the treasury “deem it paid” and resell the GSEs to the public. Two disasters at once. It’s a good story.

And if there’s all this fraud, how come nobody has been charged? You’d think that this crew would make a huge issue of somebody expensing a lunch that also gave $5 to the Obama campaign in 2008.

Not to mention them wanting to go to the IRS to deport hard working undocumented immigrants. Assuming 5.5mm people who pay taxes and assuming 45k per year of income, I calculated a 41.75 billion reduction of money going to the treasury. It’s insane. Data gleened from the Gaurdian. Cals are my own.

Agree to all of this. It’s kind of obvious. Have you read Michael Lewis’s book “The Fifth Risk”? I ask because your messaging in NOAA is true, but they are doing it everywhere. Lewis does a deep dive on a few agencies. This is not going to end well (duh). I am horrified.
