All part of the fun. I remember when I first took Technology back in Middle School, our first assignment was just to play around with the program just to help us get familiar with it. I don’t expect you to have any answers, but I’ve extended the thread in case you’re curious.

Some models work fine but other times it just freezes and I’m forced to shut the app in task manager. Could largely be because my computer has seen better days even with good RAM.

Even if I can properly load a FBX model, it can be kind of a mess. It’s not a matter of taking something and ragdolling it, all pre-made facial expressions may load at once and I don’t know what to do with that. One had no textures. And sometimes, the program does not take kindly to bones and rigs.

I was kinda hoping to play around with downloaded 3D models of characters but the results are extremely chaotic. First off, plenty aren’t compatible. I’m finding most luck with FBX type models but I keep seeing XPS and MDD. (Not to mention a good site is locked behind an Epic Games account)
