It's easy to distinguish the Dems from the mind-blowingly horrible risk presented by the Republicans. But it's a mistake to deny the Dems' corruption, abandonment of New-Deal liberalism, militarism, etc. Don't sacrifice correct critiques, just because the Repubs adopt them. That hurts your head.
