Finished Grim Fandango Remastered by Double Fine! It's always a pleasure to revisit old Lucasarts Adventures and this was long overdue to be played again. Compared to the pixelart games, the 3D aspects look a little bit aged but the Remaster still did a good job to bring it alive again!

Today is balloon 🎈 day. While the big 4 in front of the age looks unfamiliar compared to the 3s in recent years, it doesn't matter too much in the end as long as your inner child is alive and well. That and a small circle of people who cherish you.

I finished Almost my Floor by Potata Company today and really enjoyed the story of this Point & Click Adventure! The stylization that parts of the story are told as if you read a comic is also really well done. Also happy to have found out that there will be a sequel to it! :)

Really love the Elden Ring Nightreign memes recently with the tiny Revenant haha :D

Finished a somewhat shorter but very cryptic Puzzle game."Please, Don't Touch Anything" by Four Quartes and @theforwardxp. I remember the original game back in the day and this one had quite some improvements and more content. It has quite a few references to other Indie games!😄

Finished Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 today. All I can say that this game is GOTY contender in every single category. The visuals, the writing, the combat and exploration, the VAs and Soundtrack every single thing is superb. Lots of secrets to find as well, it was fun to 100% it!*spoilerfree pictures

Head empty -

(only all the variations of the Lumière Soundtrack by Lorien Testard from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on my mind all day)

Just wanted to state, that I started Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 tonight and loving it with every fiber...and that is only after the Prologue 😶 it looks fantastic and plays fantastic. Exploring every nook and cranny yields rewards. I'm excited to think about what is to come! 🥰

Timberman: The Big Adventure by @digitalmelodypl and @ForeverEntert is the game I finished today, a small platformer game, with collectibles, secrets and bosses. Overall a good experience, only a bit disappointed that collectibles and 1UPs aren't that meaningful. Still enjoyable.

Finished Season 2 of Severance tonight, the show is still as captivating as it was before. The ethical dilemma is becoming more and more apparent and we get a lot more answers of what's going on.While it feels surreal, it is scary to imagine that humanity might go this way in a not so distant future

Finished The Vale: Shadow of the Crown by @FallingSquirrel. You are as blind as the protagonist. You navigate locations and fight with Sword & Shield & Bow completely reliant on your hearing. Rustling armor, footsteps or a grunt is all you have to know when to defend or strike.

Another game completed: AER - Memories of Old by Forgotten Key SE
A fun exploration game, mixed with puzzles and lore to find all over the world. The means of travelling by shapeshifting into a bird to explore the islands is a very soothing experience, with a hint of nostalgia.

While at its core the games are Visual Novels, the cases you are involved in do not only require logical but sometimes abstract thinking to get to the bottom of it. More than once it can feel like that you made a wrong decision yet it actually was the correct way to progress!

I really enjoyed the over the top characters and their antics, there doesn't seem to be a really "normal" person in the world of Phoenix Wright, yet at least on an emotional level a lot of the characters are relatable or at least comprehensible when it comes to their actions.

Finished Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy. While the pack only grants 1000 GS for completion it's technically still 3 Games beaten. And thoroughly enjoyed every single one of them and their respective Episodes! Have a bit more to say so I'll share some more screenshots.

The other Game is called Where Bees make Honey, and aside from the relatable fact that being stuck at a Callcenter Job for years is mentally straining, I can't find much positive words, the gameplay and controls are horrible. Achievements are bugged and the "story" is bland.
April 5, 2025 at 12:18 AM
Two more Games completed. The first one is called Fuzzball. Despite its cutesy look, fighting the AI on Insane for achievements can be quite challenging. Outsmarting works better than direct confrontation most of the time. As a party game it might be semi decent though.

Jazz, I thought we talked about this... 😢

Remember the game "Papers, Please"? While this is meant as a parody, with the things that have been going on the past couple of weeks, it is simply put...terrifying to think where this leads to. Feeling a lot of empathy for my American friends who didn't want this either. ~ Credits to CJMattis
