DAHLIA is the disease in amygdahlia caused by a virus that transfers traits of living organisms to one another through HGT. this is just jayvik with anthro body horror

DAHLIA gives humans traits of animals and plants the consumed virus has already reproduced in, so. jayce’s animal traits: guzerá cattle, bernese mountain dog, blue morpho butterfly (gynandromorph.) vik’s: steppe polecat, lykoi cat, belgian hare, blue morpho (not a gynandromorph specimen however)

#jayvik before i post any intersex jayce art, here's my breakdown of the "jayce is intersex bcuz he's literally wilgefortis" hc. some text couldn't fit into the alt so tl;dr: i hc intersex transmasc jayce + vik as agender. ive settled on jayce with CAH since writing the breakdown.
TEXT: jayce talis as saint wilgefortis: the parallel to viktor as jesus imagery (and an intersex artist's self-indulgence.) While Wilgefortis was a misinterpretation of a Jesus statue due to cultural differences, the portrayals of Jesus as an androgynous figure were often intentional - theologically representing how men and women were connected under The Lord, presenting him as a feminine and masculine guidance in tandem (there are several depictions of Jesus with breasts, for example. It is also theorized his virgin birth and gender identity as a man means he was intersex and/or transmasculine, as he would've been a female infant. If you apply science to theology, anyway. I'm not religious I just love this stuff lol.) Wilgefortis' beard is written in her myth as an 'ugly' masculine distortion of her feminine image, as her prayer was for men to be disgusted by her, to avoid an arranged marriage. However, her resemblance to Jesus (and crucifixion by her father) puts the beard growth through a spiritually beautiful lens: she was connected inherently to the man she worshipped most, as two people that overlap male and female forms in a world which hated the very idea. Their martyrdom also link - Wilgefortis becoming primarily a saint of women wishing freedom from abusive male figures (particularly husbands,) and Jesus as a martyr of oppressed peoples in a broader sense. As a bearded lady, she also grew popular as a martyr of marginalized gender expression. With the science-in-theology aspect, her growth of a beard (and the consequences that follow it) mirror intersex women's experiences. Her prayer specifically resulting in beard growth leads some to believe she would've been transmasculine.(I use she/her for Wilgefortis in my interpretation, but I have read texts using they/them that interpret the saint as nonbinary, so don't get confused if you find texts that use they/them as well!) ok so what does this have to do with jayce, you ask? TEXT: It's already pretty popular within Arcane fandom to associate Viktor with androgyny, especially in his commune outfit. The blanket-turned-robes and shoulder-length hair gives a 'feminine' silhouette, and any good Jesus-inspired character is androgynous for the previously discussed reasons. His Evolved mannequin creations are considerably androgynous as well, 'sexless' as I've seen them described, with only one mannequin standing out: Jayce's. Consider intersex Jayce for a moment; in Viktor's Evolved world absent of sexes, Jayce remains the least changed - which isn't true for *many* of us intersex folk, in our world of forced sex binaries. Jayce gains a beard during S2, and that's where my inspiration for the Wilgefortis connection came from. Mage Viktor has facial hair, and the wild rune period for Jayce served to both show the Piltovan a Zaunite experience, and strengthen him for the decision to kill Viktor later. Jayce's beard growth is inherently connected to his tribulations AND to the man he is bound to through time and space, somewhat like Wilgefortis and Jesus! When Jayce returns to Piltover with the beard, his discussions with Mel are very much breakup adjacent. Mel had been using Jayce for political gain, and didn't (couldn't) protect Viktor from the attack that killed him the first time. There's some comparison to the Saint that can be made, with the arranged marriage of Wilgefortis thwarted by her beard growth and her beliefs combatting with that of her Pagan father's. Jayce's connection to Mel and other women in the show can also be read as Wilgefortis' connection to mistreated/unfortunate women - Mel's actions are influenced by the abuse she faced from Ambessa, Vi is from the oppressed nation of Zaun, S1 Caitlyn is under the weight of upperclass expectations (i won't go into her S2 characterization here,) and even Jayce's own mother Ximena is an amputee (she lost her fingers to frostbite.)
