Is this before or after the end of the Corpse Brigade? I feel the game is sympathetic with him when he is fighting with the Corpse Brigade but after he becomes a Zodiac Brave Ramza straight up tells him he is a sell out and that's bad.

I haven't played the mobile version so maybe it has become more graphic but I do remember a splat

It starts in 1600 but if you want a really good general history of modern japan. The making of modern japan by Marius Jansen is always my go to recommendation.

Yeah I think you are right and that is why he wanted the people to rule. But this might just be my headcanon but I have pictured him as basically in a medically induced coma to keep him alive forever.

Yeah there is definitely a lot still to learn that I would like to know too. And I have a feeling the next one will take us closer to the center if not all the way with some of the reveals at the end of the last one.

Doesn't it say the emperor wanted to give power to the people and remain more of a figurehead? That is the Senete that gets mentioned?

I've heard something similar about Chicago. The version I heard was the only city with more Poles than Chicago was Warsaw. Also never fact checked it.

I sat we definitely tell them what we figured out. Also since the Empire as new contractors has been keeping their end of the contract with the unintentional sacrifice but haven't been invoking the other end can we rule lawyer that to our advantage? The interdimensional things seem legalistic.

Could those bad wrongs be the blood sacrifices? They weren't doing it intentionally but the people killed in the east were doing the same thing as Aztol sacrifices in feeding/controlling the Devourer since the Empire was it's new contractor?

I'm sure Jenkins you have a way around that? It seems like bad business if your clients can get away with a magic charm when you know they are magically inclined.

I agree start with the stone especially since if we jump to demon summoning dagger that might spook him. What can he tell us about where they could get stones like this?

I think if we aiming for more empty space the current number would still work with a larger map depending on how much larger. I did notice standard is the biggest which I thought was odd. But might mean they are planning to introduce bigger maps.

I don't hate the cities in 7 but I agree the maps are very cramped. It seems like just having more tiles might help with that. But I don't know if that would cause balance or performance issues. But I would like to see bigger maps.
