My highlight must've been replaying my favorite game, FInal Fantasy IX, again, for the nth time.
This time I got to try the Alternate Fantasy mod by Tirlititi, and played the thing all the way through on a CRT tv in a two-player mode with my SO.
A close second is playing Soulframe an Expedition33.

Hard-agree on the gameplay of the original vs the sequel.
On DS hits very different.

I found that when playing on Normal, after about the second dojo the CPU level started to feel like it's actually fighting back.
I recommend to sticking with it a little while, although it's a bit of a shame.
