KQED Political Breakdown is pretty good but it feels too filtered. I haven’t listened a lot though so maybe I’m missing something. It’s also more like California politics writ large and less capitol bureau than CA Politics Pod. But of course it does feature Marisa Lagos, one of the CPP hosts.

lol as a Californian who does not live in or near the Coastal Zone but does recreate there, and as a Californian who pays for housing in a large urban agglomeration which touches the coast, I hate this so much.
