Well I think a little something that did catch my eye was how deep in the red they are (couldn’t pay staff who left, tried expanding out to a JP branch- when the EN one had this and much more brewing behind the scenes we don’t know everything about). Like this is very disappointing

Even though said agency looked like it would be different and in all honesty a model that all VTuber corpos should follow.

He has PLENTY to answer for: he’s not been slick lying about heritage (in addition to trying to take away something that marginalized individuals like myself benefit from), trying to take away the heart of this city (with something that can easily FAIL-then what?), alienating city populace, etc.

At least these three are why not just New York City but other cities throughout the country (San Fran and Chicago) have been in endless turmoil and why a national crisis is being publicized that more or less will make 2026 a “breaking point” (that I hope certain individuals are NOT platformed for)

3) DONT try to alienate a part of your city population (who are already afraid enough to even be out in public), this city in the last 2 years alone has been in headlines plenty for that reason. If campaign/press clips has you surrounded by people who have done such a thing, you cant be trusted

1) He should bring ACTUAL ideas that will work for this city- if it’s stuff that will NEVER work and will literally just drive locals away then it’s a dead campaign walking
2) don’t co-op an identity you NEVER belonged to (and plenty of defenders of his have tried to excuse said “mistake”)

I’ve already seen enough to go and see that he’s not the leader for this city (he’ll be another de belasio- only much worse). I didn’t celebrate his win at all in June knowing the ramifications and if he gets to city hall in November….. im done with this city (the gentrifiers can have it)

I don’t find it fun, I find it horrifying especially when Trojan horses have tried for years to pretend they are allies when time after time again they have been the reason why fascism has taken full hold (my own state, my own city having been a cause of it…. Idk what else I can say)

Getting ahead- actually they are using him as a weapon to cement their tyranny across the country (New Jersey’s GOP rep running for governor was immediately using him as campaign material, the GOP in D.C. were quick to put him front and center so that 2026 and beyond would favor them)

As someone whom whenever this sort of news hits directs not only my anger but scorn towards the appropriate people saying “it’s on Y’ALL to enact change”, only to see the same result; psychologically it’s reciprocal empathy? but it feels one sided
