Sulzberger and Kahn are quite aware of what's going on, and they tacitly support it.

Are you seriously making an argument this shoddy, or is it just bad faith?

I ask because there are multiple international treaties that allow for such stops and seizures in international waters.

You could easily find this information online. So what is it, trolling or stupidity?

The Times got in bed with Silicon Valley, now it's dealing with the fleas.

Love to see it.

More and more "both-sides" crap from a nepobaby owned and operated outlet that tacitly supports the GOP and wants to help oligarchs.

If you want better conditions for the working and middle classes, the Times is your enemy. Stop giving them your money. Cancel your subscription.

A lot of people are making strong counter arguments to this moral slop you posted, but I think it's more effective to just tell you that you're a loathsome dipshit and move on with my evening.

My Captain in Iraq got busted for embezzling tens of thousands from the funds we were paying to a local Sheik.

He was a lowlife, but even he never tried to tell his soldiers that they could ignore rules of engagement or commit war crimes.

As a person who barely read any of his own college homework, I can all but assure you that Nuzzi didn't even do that.

Hugh Thompson may be the most well known soldier who stood up to stop My Lai, but the other members of his aircrew, Glenn Andreotta and Lawrence Colburn, did as well.

Leo was an extraordinarily good choice.

Banning swastikas has long been the policy of the military. When I was in the Army we were given EEO briefs every six months and were told we were required to report anybody who had Nazi tattoos or other extremist symbols.

This is just disgusting.

It sure seems more and more like a corrupt right-winger is running the Times, and he also wants to see the end of American democracy.
November 17, 2025 at 9:34 PM
One guy in the middle has a uniform that's so faded that I mistook it for the Army's old, phased out uniform.

That absolutely wouldn't be tolerated if he was on active duty. It does not speak well of him, or his unit's leadership.

Somehow the people doing Trump's bidding continue to impress.

Let's do everything we can to ensure that Angus King's nepo baby never becomes governor of Maine.

They didn't leave Massachusetts either when it passed a similar tax. In fact, more millionaires live there now than before the tax was enacted.

That third term is probably the biggest reason Christine Quinn got trounced in the 2013 Primary.

Eat shit, Sulzberger.

It's interesting how outlets like the Times were running stories that Mikie Sherrill was in serious trouble in the NJ race. Then she goes on to win by well over 10 points.

Really makes you wonder why they reported on the race that way . . .

He wasn't going to move here if he won, either.

I care.

You deserve representatives that actually work for you. The Midwest has far too many politicians that work against their own constituents.

The Dem establishment has long treated the Midwest as an afterthought. That's one of many reasons they need to be primaried out.
November 5, 2025 at 2:19 AM
I think the Times frames things that way because the owner wants the Democrats to keep shooting themselves in the foot.

Dems need to treat the Times as a hostile outlet and focus on what works.
November 4, 2025 at 5:12 PM
Thank you.

I also left the GOP, for a few reasons, but the war was definitely the catalyst in waking me up.

I registered as a Republican when I turned 18, I didn't have much understanding of politics at the time and my older brother was one.

I'm glad you and I both got the hell out of there.

Cuomo put up for Sister Frances Cabrini, a nun, who fiercely worked on behalf of immigrants. He highlighted her work in his speech and by putting the statue in view of Ellis Island

Now, he does this, once again proving what an utter fraud he is.

Let's send bastard back to Westchester.
November 4, 2025 at 3:43 PM
Cheney dodged the draft, and less than 40 years later sent me and my friends to fight a bullshit war. Some didn't make it back.

After work, I'll be stopping by the bar to have a drink to them, and every other life cut short by this cowardly, warmongering son of a bitch.

There really are better places to jerk yourself off than doing so publicly like this.

If you need some ideas, ask Jeffrey Toobin.
