i’m hoping to eventually start a writing group there but we’ll see if that happens.
i’ll be actively participating in a writing group local to me. but i also know it can be hard to find some or people are unable to go out so it would be nice to have a space for people to meet there.

im revamping the discord and plan to be actually active there to keep accountable with writing and to get in a better habit with writing out/thinking through what im reading.

and have a jan book club book to read that i may or may not get to by the end of the month plus its sequel. i’ll still read them, but probably not in time for the end of the month. we’ll see.
im also in the middle of my locked tomb series reread and am about halfway through harrow.

ive read t kingfisher to start the year off - both Thornhedge (excellent, ticked off one of the prompts in this years challenge) and nettle and bone (a fantastic time with this story!)
im in the midst of reading the fifth season (LOVING this book so far).

things like this make me wanna run a book club and read a monthly book, but im 1. not the most consistent reader, 2. working on getting better st articulating my book thoughts/reviews, and 3. i am not really well known so like. idk who would even join 😅🙃

12/18/24 - today wasnt manuscript writing but! i did get myself creatively back in that space and work through some of the vagueness in my outside and actually nixed the whole first part of the planned book.
still pen to paper in the end. literally. so i dont actually know how much i wrote.

12/13/24 - technically i didnt write any scenes, but i did write out more details on a few of the main characters so its not all been a wash.
i do think i wont be properly writing until tomorrow night or monday.

i 100% agree these people are lost and do not actually want to write.
if you cant, wont learn how to research or write, refuse to join writing communities, you dont want to be a writer.
anything worth doing isnt going to be easy. putting in the work is the only way.
