Lord of the rings: return of the king?

Heavy drops of water soak into the matted fur. The never-left-behind, button-eyed-buddy, is now laying forgotten in the muddy camp ground watching the family station wagon slow roll away. Then break lights! Followed by a hurried reversing. A door opens, a hand reaches down. The bear is returned home

It does bring a nice “yelling sweet nothings into the void” that I haven’t gotten from other places
