ummm I did.

August 31st this year on our signal chat. We were talking about B5, you pivoted to "the whitest guy ever on Star Trek" (Time Agent Daniels) and I told you that he shows up in DSC.

(I always gave the receipts)

Regular may be a bit much. More like early season Garak and not late seasons Worf. Small presence, big impact.

I keep telling you that you need to rip off that band aid and watch it.

Seeing how he is a regular character in Star Trek Discovery (s3-5) I am gonna say the guy is doing a.o.k.

Dr Bashir: Even Hudson?
Garak: Especially Hudson.

It wasn't until a second viewing of Atlantis that I figured it out but it was a tasty little egg for sure.

Headcanon for me it was he feeling so guilty not helping Elizabeth that he became Merlin.

Best self referential homage ever created.

Well historically we never would have had the Batman without The Shadow first so I will allow it. Pathogenesis homage.

Should we skip ENT "Breaking the Ice" as well?
November 15, 2025 at 6:32 AM
Eh, it was the 90s. Past Burton's two runs 1930s super heroes tried so hard to come back. See also The Phantom.

But you need to show some respect there. That score is by Jerry Fucking Goldsmith and it's the only good thing to come out of this film.

CRUSHER: If what we're saying is true, those trailers I saw were just concept art?
LAFORGE: It's the same thing with the phase shift in my visor. Hollywood trying again and again to make it happen.
November 15, 2025 at 5:25 AM
Oh this needs the full scene treatment:
RIKER: You mean we could have come into this room, sat at this table and been told a new Star Trek film is coming?
LAFORGE: A dozen, a hundred, it's impossible to tell. We could hear tales of more Kelvinverse, or a Tarantino opus or some new thing entirely!
