That makes me wonder what a “Wild West Wikipedia” would look like, just a constant overflow of information being written and overwritten. It wouldn’t be remotely useful, but it’d be a spectacle…not that that’s something we’re in short supply of at the moment.

I don’t know if there’s hope on a cultural level to “outsmart the machine” so long as being well informed is viewed as an obligation rather than a virtue. And on an individual basis there’s very little to do other than protecting yourself and MAYBE your immediate others.
