Oh yah, for a short bit I was attempting to make a Pokemon Quest resource pack for Minecraft, (Also from 2023) though I kiiinda gave up, but I'd say it's still on the table.

Other than that, if you noticed, there's a custom texture for the bricks on those brick houses, I'm gonna develop a texture pack to go along with the map, but I'll also make it work for general use as well.

After I was happy with Snobby Shores, I moved onto a neighboring-ish POI, Pleasant Park!
This is still a big WIP, and unfinished. Some of the building designs could use some work still, but the overall building and road layout are done.

After I was happy with Snobby Shores, I moved onto a neighboring-ish POI, Pleasant Park!

I began working a bit on the outskirts of the poi, mostly just kinda getting a feel for how to translate the island's terrain and roads into minecraft, most of this won't be tackled until muuuch later though.

At this point, the POI is done, just needs some slight interior work, though i'm not really messing with furniture.
On average, the map is a some-what to-scale replica of the island, with every tile space taking up a 3x3 space with the corners being somewhat shared with other tiles.

I decided to just tackle one POI at a time, and I started with Snobby Shores, since the buildings were kinda baked into the height map, so it was a good reference point for how to scale the entire map gen.
