ahh... so this is how you connect the bottom of the seeedstudio xiao boards (battery / extra GPIO on certain boards) that aren't on the edges.
You have a via (I think they are called) and pcb cut!
I have hated soldering wires to this module to connect the LIPO battery...

Testing out various ways to design this "ribbed" side pattern in a curve-y shape in #onshape.
The left part was designed with the rib having the designed shape. The right was box-y until I chamfered at the end.
The end result looks the same!

found it - I am using generic magnet USB cables to simplify the charging - the magnet had made it stick to metal leg of a table!
(I wonder how complex it is to add inductive recharge coil to the xiao seeed esp32s3 ... ugh .. not now jesse)

🤯 I’m wearing a prototype ring I designed and 3d printed that has a computer with wireless coms and more storage/processing speed than I had ever used until I was in college 🤯
No battery yet, so it will be a little bigger once I add the 100mAh battery - another 2.8 gram / 13mm x 19mm x 6mm

let's see how annoying having a ring like this to hold the Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32S3 as a "press & hold to record / transcribe audio" is

Soldered on a press button (keycap linear brown)
3d print with Bambu marble filament
Add magnetic usb cable connector
Now I can press and hold to record time stamped audio
charging base is raspberry pi zero to sync to Tana.inc
