You can experience something kinda similar with a decently bright monitor. Stare at bright red for a while, like a whole minute or more, closely so it fills your entire field of vision. Suddenly switch the screen to bright green. It'll look hyper green.

There is a strong equity argument. Some students have access to stem education when they’re younger through their family or schools with good budgets. Others do not, and they are consequently artificially behind the curve. You should propose a marketing plan too for the enrollment part.

Motivate them to move toward a conclusion, not argue one side. Make them combine ideas to find new solutions or compare published solutions. Require students to cite opposing positions and to offer suggestions on solving the disagreement. The last part is the science. How do we resolve the dispute?

Isn’t there a point at which a product becomes so intentionally poisonous that maybe it’s a good idea to stop using it? Especially when there are less poisonous alternatives. You can study cocaine without funding its production.

If it's in my field, I just read the results and discussion. Methods last if the results are unexpected. I often skip the conclusions. Outside of my field, it's intro, results (if I can grasp them), then discussion/conclusions. ...but I've read a lot of these. They take some practice.

Sadly, I'm a habitual member of the Department of Redundancy Department. It's just a habit, but still sad.

Speaking of Jesus, you've certainly inhaled atoms from air that he breathed. ...along with just about every other old historical person who ever lived.

Magenta is the weirdest one right? I remember that one being especially non-existent.

I climbed the easiest of the "46 peaks" in New York just for that reason... Then I got to the top and was all like "Oh, THIS is why people do this!"
