#mallesil SPOILS OF WAR AU!!!!!!!
A post from my tumblr, anonyanonymouse, that says: MalleSil spoils of war AU, but where Malleus is the spoils... I'm shuffling around a lot of things, but Malleus is still roughly the same age as canon, Silver is a kid for now. Henryk has taken power after the king died, but instead of outright killing KoD and Leah, they're kept as captive figure heads who nobody in the budding country knows are powerless behind the scenes. KoD kills Meleanor, and after the faes final defense is fallen, they launch an attack on the remaining ones left. Very, very few survive to scatter across the world. Malleus is wounded and, rather than killing him, they slice both horns off, chain him down and drag him back to their rulers. He reverts to his dragon form, without the magic to keep up his human one. He's kept as Henryk's playing, put out for the countrymen to mock and laugh at. The poor fae, who could never hope to be as strong as mighty humans... But Silver is curious about the dragon, and very sweet and gentle with it whenever he's allowed to go near (or, more likely, when he wanders off without permission). Malleus gets so little pity and kindness, that he really takes to Silver as he grows. And Silver will realize the severity of Malleus' abuse more as he gets older too, checking in on him often and always making sure he is at least fed and his wounds are cleaned. As a couple decades go by, little bits of Malleus' horns grow back, and he's able to use just enough magic that he can speak in fragments with Silver. He'll convince him to steal the magic staff giving Henryk his power, so that he can heal Malleus and set him free. And of course, when Silver does it, Malleus kidnaps him to keep as his own while he plots his revenge after all those years <3

Even if it means not being with Vil :')#he wants everyone to be at their most beautiful (healthy and loving and open-minded in their own unique way)#even if that means he himself ends up excluded from the picture!!!!#and it's so nice that we get that Rook Pack Expansion with these dreams#and I liked Jade's dream even if it was just for extremely silly reasons. I like that we now know his ass is not paying attention#to his loved ones LOL he is the number one floyd and azul mischaracterizer on ao3 I love that we know this now#Jamil and Kalim getting into a scrap fight was so desperately needed for their character arcs and I am so happy we got it#and with this in mind. I think no other dorm needs more character expansions and character arc movement for me to enjoy them more#than the savanaclaw boys. I'm just nooottt that into them as is 😔#but I WANT to like them and I am really hoping this update throws me something awesome that changes my view of them forever#and isn't just another 2 epel dreams with a vil dream at the end#(not that I didn't enjoy vil or epel's dreams and elements from them they just didn't add as much to their characters as I wanted ;;)#ok goodbye for real now bye

I imagine it's a few years post-NRC, and Malleus is using all his wealth and magic and sweet words to trap them into marriage contracts and keeping them safely, securely inside his castle's walls. If they're still too afraid of him, then his kind and unassuming Silver who only wants them to join him for a proper fae feast for one night is sure to do the trick... Thinking about how spoiled they all are. They can spend all day singing and dancing, eating delicious food they've made for each other, dressed in embroidered silk and gold. It's like Malleus' own dollhouse... And this time, nothing is fake, everyone is awake, and he isn't alone. As far as he's concerned, he's gotten so much better at forming human relations since his overblot <3 Love to imagine the darker side to it too, when Malleus leaves, and Silver enforces strict manners and behavioral training. There is a right and wrong way for a lowly human doll to behave with their fae lord, and he ensures they all know the difference. Sebek is even more ruthless with their physical exercise regimen. They will all be clean, in shape, and ready to dance morning to dusk, or else. If it's something that Malleus owns, they will ensure that it's only the best <3

Post from my tumblr anonyanonymouse Title: Taunt Taunt Not something I subscribe to as canon, but something I really enjoy as a concept nonetheless is Malleus bullying Silver out of buried jealousy and prejudice... And it's so one-sided and stupid it's ridiculous, like he's doing everything he can to make this little toddler mad at him and hate him (while staying 10ft away from it still afraid he will break him and make Lilia upset SOBS). And Silver is just giggling away at him the whole time, it's so silly 😭BUT that said, Silver would take it to heart a lot more as he gets older, even if Malleus eventually stops. Silver trains every day for the sake of his country, his father, and his lord, but he would do so remembering how his own prince belittled him and looked down on him. He values Malleus' life more than his own, even knowing Malleus only sees him as a weak and pathetic human. He fully believes everything Malleus said when he was young. Even if Malleus would take it back now, it's already become a firm truth in Silver's reality. I just want to see what happens when Silver repeats it years later, how his human life is meaningless next to a noble fae's, and Malleus himself tells him that it's not true. For Silver to say, "but you're the one who told me that."

He could be wearing leather straps over his chest and waist with cuffs linked to them, keeping his arms held behind his back, but a spreader bar with both his wrists and ankles cuffed to it would be good too. I don't want to put a blindfold on him, I want his eyes to be showing strong and noble, glaring. Anything he's put into will have to be enchanted to really best him, he's powerful enough he could break free otherwise. He's humiliated that he doesn't have the means to escape, but he has to stay strong still <3

Post from my tumblr anonyanonymouse Title: Betrayal I picture an AU where Malleus is the tyrannical ruler of Briar Valley, and Silver is his loyal knight, raised from birth as a sheltered brainwashed subject. His pure adoration for his ruler (much reciprocated), as well as his father's influence, push him further up the latter. He's given the privilege to leave the comfortable walls of his home and see the squalor the rest of his fellow citizens are in. He has the privilege to fight in battle and kill and realize just how many prisoners of war they've taken, how they're beaten and tortured. He's one of the few people allowed to question his lord's decisions, but unlike in canon, he knows he can't take it too far— even in dire circumstances. He can politely ask if cities outside the capital will receive aid soon, if he plans to release their tortured mind-broken captives, if he would at least let Silver give them the mercy of death. He doesn't bother changing his mind about the hostility and war he brings to nations around them, and he doesn't say anything more when Malleus rejects his requests. He's given sweet kisses to his forehead, reminds his lord how wonderful he is, and he leaves feeling nothing but dread in his stomach. A lot of different things could be the inciting incident forcing Silver to change his mind, but regardless of what starts it, just imagine how wrathful Malleus becomes... The audacity for his privileged, dear little knight to stand out of line in defense of those worthless souls he pities so much. That he would think it possible for him to land a swing of his sword onto him is absurd. How privileged he is, then, to receive a lesson directly from Malleus' own hands

He's drugged, blindfolded, gagged, but still kicking and fighting weakly as they're holding him down to brand him and "prepare" him. It happens so fast. They don't want to waste a second after planning this all these years, they can't let his innocence be tainted any further by his blinded parents. Silver is drifting in and out of sleep by the time he's laid out on a cold stone table, his eyes glossy and blank, unable to understand the repeated chanting everyone in the room is shouting. He's still awake when there's a searing pain in his stomach. He sees red, then nothing, then horns. He doesn't hurt anymore, his skin is clean, it doesn't even have a scratch. He feels weightless, carried through the dingy halls of a corner of the castle he never should have seen, broken bodies and blood smearing the path. The horned man holding him tells him so little, quietly lugging the boy out into the castle's gardens and then even further still, places he's never seen before and has no clues about. He tells him he doesn't belong here anymore, he can't return here again. His soul is a demon's belonging now, but he assures him, he will be well cared for and even spoiled and loved. Malleus will only need him to do a few things for him in his time, and then he can rest peacefully in dreams so unimaginably blissful. And Silver, oblivious to the dangers of demons and monsters, wholeheartedly believes him.

Silver thinks he's just there as a guard to keep him out of harms way, and doesn't even pay attention to what store they're going to until he's inside and Malleus is bee-lining towards the collars and leads. Silver's so confused, asking why he's buying dog collars when he doesn't even own any dogs, and Malleus is like, "of course I do, don't you know?" HELP Malleus would ask for Silver's opinion on which to get, but he already knows Silver is useless with fashion (and he at least wants him to look good). He could pick out a more humiliating one if he wanted, like a sparkly pink one with paw print pattern gems with a cute little bow to match, BUT!! It's my bias that he gets him a collar/leash set that's black with silver studs and looks like it's plain at first, but that has roses and scales subtly etched into the leather <3 He'll buy other things too, like a custom tag (no name, just "property of Briar Valley" hbehbebhvgh) and a bone.... Poor Silver is a little horrified when he realizes these "gifts" are for him, but he'll eventually relent and turn around and pull his hair out of the way so Malleus can collar him. And leash him. And put the big bone just for him in his mouth. And make him walk back to NRC like that.......... Help him 😭

He's giggling and laughing maniacally when Silver glares and spouts his self-righteous speech at him. He so badly wants to see the cute, soft-spoken boy break down and point his blade to his neck, betraying his own devotion and loyalty to Malleus, knowing he can't hurt him even if he tried, and still trying anyway. Malleus who wants Silver to treat him like a bad child that needs a scolding and refuses be reasoned with. He lets Silver pin him down and curse him. Maybe he wants Silver to think he can force his own master into submission and guilt, just for Malleus to confirm who's making the orders and why. Malleus letting Silver sink his sword into him, letting Silver have false-hope that he could actually stand his own against him, just to grab his sword and shatter it into pieces. Watching the hope and anger vanish while pure, unfiltered fear settles in.

Post from my tumblr anonyanonymouse Title: Addiction Malleus pampering Silver with feel-good pleasure magic that takes away his nightmares and sadness, pushing Silver's problems to the back of his mind so he can go limp and thoughtless in his arms. Silver will always tell him not to (if he knows what Malleus is about to do at all) but he likes it so much while it's happening, doesn't he? He gets so upset about it, but what for? Malleus just wants him to enjoy himself, and if he's so bothered by it afterward, he can kindly cut away those memories for him <33 Sometimes he gives his blessings through food, sometimes through kisses. He thinks he has control over the effects, but he really does go too far most of the time, leaving Silver drooling and flushed and broken... Before NRC, it was less frequent, but now that he can see him and play with him every day, he can accidentally leave Silver in that dumb giddy state for days. Obviously, others worry, but Silver likes it, right? He would never refuse it if it was something Malleus wanted of him, would he? It's not like his grades perform any better when he's in his regular state of mind anyway, not like he doesn't miss classes already, so why not let him stay in Malleus' bed all day like the little spoiled pet he is? And even if Lilia or Sebek do fight to get Malleus to stop, it just leaves the poor boy an even worse mess than before. Silver's head hurts, throbbing and sharp, and no amount of healing magic from the nurse, his father, or anyone else can fix it. He has nightmare after nightmare, sleeping for a mere few minutes at a time before he's waking up screaming his throat sore. He's nauseous, he can't keep food down, and everything hurts. The only one who can put him back together is Malleus
