Much better!! Still too scared to break out my proper inks, gonna go back to comic work until I'm feeling brave lol
The carved pigeon block next to some white prints on black paper again. This time the prints are much neater and have next to no unwanted noise. The block has had all excess rubber cut off

Gonna clean up the noise-causing bits and call it a night, but tomorrow I'll try with more paint + a round on scrap fabric (paper and acrylic aren't actually the medium for this kind of rubber block printing, I'm just Nervous and gotta try with supplies I don't care about first lol)

The pink rubber block, carved pigeon and words now covered in white paint. Around it are 5 small black cards that have been printed in white. They're patchy and there's some noise round the edges, but they're largely legible A closeup of the least messy print A closeup of the least messy print

Is it wise to test how small I can physically carve something ON MY FIRST TRY? Probably not, but it's going well I think. I'm still scared of the interior lines, but it's time for dinner, so that's a problem for later!

There. Time for the scary part (carving). Also to evacuate this room because I do NOT trust my foolish son (a dove) around rubber shavings. No matter how well I clean, he will find one and he will eat it
The pigeon and text on the pink rubber have now all been cleaned up with pencil

We are... transferring
on a tablet screen is a drawing of a pigeon and "AnonSpice" written backwards. The image is copied again onto paper, then onto a sheet of pink rubber. The image on the rubber is mostly a blury "carbon copy", but the wings have been clarified with pencil

In my first run he mostly just existed a few times, but I belive there's more interaction with him if you make a tevinter-oriented choice that I didn't make!
There are several codexes you can pick up that're about him reguardless, though
