I believe, absent any real data, that the horrendous inequality in the western world exacerbates our unconscious biases and the stress of living with no sense of optimism about your country's future due to the hoarding of resources by the ultra wealthy leads to racism, misogyny, homophobia, etc.

I'm not sure what Meta's algorithm is smoking but this ad is pretty much a swing and a miss.
