I wish people respected your experiences even if they didn't relate to you or understand your sexuality. It's so tiring having to explain your identity repeatedly and then get invalidated just because they can't imagine it. I'd suggest not to seek validation from people who refuse to understand you

Hormones don't make you any less of an asexual. We all have hormones, and yet we are all different even if we have the same amount of hormones. It's really irritating that you have to explain yourself over and over again to people who refuse to believe your aexuality is real or needs to be corrected

I suppose I'll try baby steps and start posting little by little, so here's hoping it'll help me to get out of the decision paralysis

People followed the laws aren't the type of people you can count on to protect you, look to people who do morally correct things based on compassion, empathy and connection who understood that our oppression are all connected.

Law is not the divine evidence of morality. After all, slavery was once legal. Martial rape was once legal, and it's still widely practised to this day. Don't confuse law for morality as they are two different things that can overlap but still they're not quite the same thing.

When in reality standing up for oppressed people is morally correct, yet by doing that, we get punished by doing the right thing to call people out for their cruelty. Their constant on slaught attempts go dehumanise certain group of people and convincing us all it's law.

Enjoying sensations caused by sexual desires, kink, or fetish doesn't automatically mean you have to engage in sex itself. Some do, others don't. Sex is optional, but experiencing isn't always optional. You can either enjoy it or hate it. It's all up to you. After all, it's optional, not mandatory.

You still have the same sensation as everyone possesses. Your body can still experience the arousal response and can enjoy the sensations without experiencing sexual attraction. There's people who enjoy the arousal sensations, and then there are people who don't at all under the asexuality umbrella.

I once saw a comment saying, "Asexuality is not lack of sexual desire, but a lack of sexual attraction." I think it just means even if you lack sexual attraction, you can still get simulated mentally.
