Alderman Daniel La Sparta said, “Chicagoans deserve safe, plowed sidewalks this winter. Hundreds of thousands of residents—parents with young children, neighbors with disabilities, elderly Chicagoans—are counting on us to invest in #PlowtheSidewalks. I won’t vote for a budget that leaves them out.”

Chicago police are on scene for a 15-year-old boy shot and killed in the 6900 block of South Parnell Avenue. On scene are two very upset and distraught women.
