What's crazy is how many games they've won when they consistently fall apart on offense in the 4th. So far they keep making other teams play a bit worse than they are, but if / when they solve this problem...

Tate is just awesome. Defense, rebounding, hustle, some handles, some passing, in the right place at the right time, few mistakes. A winner.

Fourth qtr offensive collapse has become a standard feature of Rockets games... But if someone told me in Sep that we'd be 2nd in the west at this point, I wouldn't have believed them

Currently #2 in the West, Rockets are ahead of schedule and there's no rush to shuffle pieces.

Teams with a short contending window like LAC or Suns do those expensive, short rentals of stars. 4th best record in the league, Rockets have zero panic right now and zero need to jettison high ceiling talent. Also Rockets are worst 3p% in the league and Butler is the answer? No disrespect to Jimmy

Well said. Rockets have lost 3 of their last 5 and are still 4th best record in the league. I'm not convinced that we have to move high ceiling pieces like Reed, Whitmore, Eason.

How best do I argue for redistibutive leftist economic policy if the current zeitgeist holds true that we all suffer under late stage capitalism AND we're objectively doing well?
If I'm honest with myself the resistance I feel is not to the facts themselves; I'm angered by the greed - based economic paradigm that has ruled since Regan and if it's true we're mostly better off lately, am I surrendering that philosophical battle to the libertarians?
