Just finished this- excellent science fiction, especially loved that there was a bit character who boiled down to "diversity win! This fascist enforcer uses they/them pronouns!" (Not Ilmus).

First full book of the year down: The Lies of Locke Lamora! After being recommended this over and over by two friends I picked this up and loved it! A really fun fantasy crime... thriller suppose? Idk, but I had a lute version of the Mission Impossible theme in my head the entire time. 5 stars.
