I worked with Governor Mills when she served in the Maine State Legislature. She was admired by her peers from both sides of the aisle. She and much of the Mills family has served the state of Maine. They are highly respected. She will always follow the law and do what is right for her constituents.

When I saw this post, Allen's was the first thing I thought about! Having lived in Maine, I can confirm that it is a staple.

I visited it several years ago. My favorite part of Versailles was the hamlet way in the back of the property behind all of the manicured gardens. I assume this is where the staff lived. i just loved all of the small houses with circular staircases and wildflower gardens.

I left; I got tired of reading posts like "Trump will fire Mitch McConnell and make Rick Scott the majority leader." When someone points out why that can't happen, their replies are so toxic. It's just become a cesspool of misinformation and hate.

I just joined too. I am following people I liked on Twitter using starter packs ... that has been so helpful. I left Twitter ... to toxic. But I won't post much, if at all, so I may be considered a bot too. I see people following me, but I'm not sure why since I haven't posted anything.
