If they’ve made a “deal” to vote on the spending bill, they’d have to re-open the House and Senate to actually legislate, right? So the final vote to release the Epstein files would be sworn in. And you know Republicans don’t want that to happen. So what’s the end game?

One aspect of Dementia Don that I don’t see much discussed is the anger aspect. Patients either seem to turn inward or lash out. My husband’s grandfather was a powerful businessman…in the early stages the disease angered him as he saw his power wane and continued to worsen as time went by

What if….and I’m just spitballing here, we got rid of the electoral college and went to a popular vote? The electoral college was created to bolster the vote of slave owners. As I recall, we got rid of slavery 160 years ago.

I live in a county that voted 67% for Trump. MAGA yard signs and red hats were proudly worn/displayed. Went to the local park today to walk. Fields are full of kid sports, antique car show in the parking lot, people everywhere - not a single MAGA hat, t-shirt, bumper sticker, or flag.

Every reporter needs to refer to this bill as the Trump budget, the GOP budget, the Republican budget. Make them own it every single day as people suffer. No mealy mouth euphemisms. They can’t blame this on Biden or Obama - it is Trump’s bill, signed, sealed and delivered by the GOP.
