A drawing I made of my characters a while ago. My story is set in 14th century England so I made it in a medieval style. It features all the main characters of my story, with the pov character, William, in the center.

I don't have drawings but I'm writing a novel about a 14th century minstrel who becomes a vampire in an unfortunate vampire hunting accident. I can share a little snippet.
He wanted to scream and throw up, but he could not. He was frozen in place as he stared at his blood-slicked fingers and the sharp claw-like nails that jutted from them. He had fed on Bertram like a wild animal. Killed him. And he had loved it. What sort of depraved monster had he become?

A snippet from the medieval vampire novel I've been working on in my free time
Mihai sighed. “I’m sorry about my cousin. He takes his responsibilities as a hunter very seriously. It’s his duty to protect humans.” “Protect them from creatures like me, yes,” William spoke softly as he cast a look out of the window. The sky was getting brighter. Soon the sun would breach the horizon, ready to scorch him if he dared step into its deadly rays. Mihai’s eyes softened. “William, you’re not–” William turned back to him and interrupted him with a knowing, pitiful smile. “Let us not pretend. I am a revenant. I cannot deny my nature, and neither can you. You know perfectly well what that means. I need to drink human blood to sustain myself. I would abstain from it if only it were so simple, but this body has been cursed with a terrible hunger that I am helpless to resist.”

I started reading the Elric saga by Michael Moorcock recently. The omnibus starts with this introductory story by Neil Gaiman and boy it's wild! The tone doesn't match the actual Elric stories at all either, idk what they were thinking lol

I love how one of Vampire Hunter D's running themes is that D is so pretty he turns all the guys gay.
