Spring is here, writing verse outdoors is the best thing in the world

Winter has done its worse over rural Ireland, time to enjoy a fresh spring, get outside and write #poetry

Wipe your eye shadow away, black cast relic reveals,
A blue sapphire ring surrounds the oculus of the soul.
You move in mournful motions made of mere mimics,
Set your jewel flush against the cold metal keyhole,
Spy like a fly in your own home, watching for spiders.

Wipe your eye shadow away, black cast relic reveals,
A blue sapphire ring surrounds the oculus of the soul.
You move in mournful motions made of mere mimics,
Set your jewel flush against the cold metal keyhole,
Spy like a fly in your own home, watching for spiders.

Shadows of shadows dissipate, like a cold black frost.
In treacherous waters, an ominous tide twists and turns,
Slivers of light cut across the flesh of night in sabre lines.
Frozen mouths of Memento Mori serenade silent nocturns,
A Concrete Moon fades to slumber above eternal obscurity.
