I think the alignment option is going to be really helpful for measurements in amusement rides (although I would prefer to view the vector a-g, which reflects the forces you feel as you ride

g /2 corresponds to 30° slope, consistent with the 66 m length and 33 m elevation difference, as stated by Wikipedia ;-)
(and with measurement of the step, where I got h≈20cm and L≈40cm for another escalator, seen from inside and outside in this figure (Phys Ed 2020)

I discovered that you can do it with a playground swing, as well. #iTeachPhysics. And you need practice also - not just belief in physics ;-)
