This shows that Epstein’s influence extended beyond politics & business into mainstream media, highlighting how power & privilege can shield wrongdoing, a stark reminder that accountability often falters when the powerful protect one of their own.

The problem is, we have known this for a long time!

Politicians who focus on fear & criticism rather than concrete solutions, like this analogy or figures such as Priti Patel, can stoke division w/out addressing the practical or moral complexities they claim to solve. This grabs attention, but fails to deliver meaningful, evidence-based outcomes.

The IMF is not inherently evil, but it’s a tool of the global financial system. Its policies are designed to stabilise debt & markets, not necessarily to protect ordinary people. Some call it 'not a force for good' is a fair criticism: governments & creditors benefit more than citizens.

Trump’s approach prioritizes personal attacks & short-term political gain over dignity, empathy & responsible leadership, undermining the qualities of true statesmanship, damages public discourse & sets a troubling precedent for political norms. Trump has put the US presidency firmly in the gutter.

Corporations cloak cost-cutting & restructuring/strategic pivots in the guise of external pressures/supply shortages/market shifts or tech trends. This sleight of hand reframes decisions as necessity rather than proactive choice, preserving image, placating investors & softening employee blowback.

In today’s Britain, the system often punishes those who act with conscience/courage while turning a blind eye to complicity/violence. Peaceful protest can lead to arrests, yet those who engage in harmful actions can escape any scrutiny, exposing a stark contradiction at the heart of authority.

The UK housing crisis, including the lack of affordable social housing, is a long shadow of Thatcher-era policies. Right to Buy & chronic underinvestment set the stage for today’s struggles, showing that the social & environmental consequences of past policies still haunt every housing debate.

This shows the illusion of change under privatisation: new bidders & extra cash may promise improvement, but the underlying profit-driven, debt-laden structure remains largely untouched. Without strong public oversight/regulatory teeth, it’s mostly rebranding pollution & debt.

GBNews conveniently erases the violent content of her post, her guilty plea/failed appeal & the fact that travel limits are routine licence conditions, turning a straightforward hate-speech conviction into a manufactured tale of political persecution.

The usual divisive, fact-free GB News rhetoric.

Calling 'US intelligence' an oxymoron or The Bullshit Factory isn’t just witty cynicism, it’s a recurring truth: brilliant on paper, chaos in execution & having the smartest people in the room is a huge limitation, bc the smartest of them all aren't in that room. Cut off or not, they still double X.

US military interventions & there are many, are almost always justified with a simple, emotionally compelling reason: human rights, a drug war, an imminent threat. Later evidence often reveals the true drivers: strategic, political or resource-based.

The playbook never changes, only the players.

A massive US carrier group parks itself beside the world’s richest oil reserve & we’re supposed to believe it’s there because of a few speedboats allegedly carrying drugs?

What's probably more ridiculous is It's more than just convenience that the US media cannot grasp it. 🙈🙉🙊

The BBC doesn’t need to stoop to sensationalism or personal attacks to counter Trump; it just needs a meticulous, fact-driven, fearless documentary. Present the evidence clearly, let the facts speak. In other words, honesty, thoroughness & courage are the most effective weapons against his BS.

It’s laughable.

Some very sharp, necessary questions need to be asked to get to the bottom of why the Military Police weren’t initially involved. The questions are less about blame in isolation & more about systemic failures, why rules weren’t followed, who allowed them to be bypassed & how the culture contributed.

One foot is already in an idiocracy where politics is performative, media rewards stupidity & expertise is sidelined but the other foot still stands in a functioning democracy with strong competence. The danger isn’t stupidity, it's the noise distracting people while the powerful quietly take over.

Israel often pursues short-term tactical wins on the assumption that any fallout can be managed later. But this repeated willingness to act first & absorb consequences afterwards keeps deepening the long-term problems it claims to be trying to prevent - no, sorry, I meant depend on.
