alternatively how do you explain to someone that asking the cops for the death penalty and to shoot you in the head over a minor traffic infraction generally makes situations fucking worse

a big part of the reason we broke up was that I don't want to spend two hours trying to guess what she likes and then have her act sullen and disappointed for days after when I can't get it right
