its fine! i really don't mind much anymore, especially compared to when i first started applying to things. the zine community is a lot more inflated now especially, and there's a lot of competition. its just how it is!

i don't normally feel upset tbh since like, rejection only means so much about the quality of your art. im more bummed when its a project i really wanted to be a part of. i think my biggest rejection sting was fe allure zine, since they had it three times and i made it in a grand total of zero
