For the record, I haven’t seen anyone on BlueSky express anything but sympathy for these poor kids (so far). It’s people on reddit who are beside themselves with glee at the chance to dunk on people in the south.

So: a) yes, you are valid. You are sexy. You have the right to experience and express your gender however you want. And as long as it’s safe, sane, and consensual, you can express yourself sexually however you please.

b) if you want something, just tell your partner.

Which is hard, because these people are trying to navigate something vulnerable and difficult. I get that. I don’t hold it against them.
