The new works should have separated the cyclists from the pedestrians. A big missed opportunity

My grandparents lived in Menston and we lived I Shipley so we traveled past here regularly. We were always amazed at the queues for fish and chips. We ate in there once when a relative visited from abroad. It was the poshest place I'd ever eaten in.

I recall Castle Street and High St/St Mary's Street being shut for something like this for a Sunday and I'm sure it was more than one year. From the fact that High Street was still open to traffic you can tell this was a while ago

I've written 4 times to my labour mp about the issue and had nothing at all back. I'm disgusted and all these proposed changes are just making it worse
