And finally, my way out there contender: Card Timothy Radcliffe. He gave a homily at the synod about living the questions that everyone loved. He makes an impact. He's unlike anyone I've ever met. Kind and down to earth and really just wonderful. Could his humility translate to votes? I think so

First up: Cardinal Grech. He ran the synod, which means he's committed to synodality, or a way of being church that focuses on listening. I'm all in on this. Plus, he welcomed a group of students (including me) into the synod hall for a dialogue in October

The next obvious choice is Card. Tagle from the Philippines. He's called "the Asian Francis." Lots of videos of him doing karaoke, he's traveled the world and worked at the Vatican in evangelization. A clear front runner.

One of my favorite pieces of art of Pope Francis, by Philadelphia artist Becky McIntyre

May "todos todos todos" remain our vision of the church

It's impossible to summarize what Pope Francis meant to me. Suffice it to say, I named my first child after him (and dressed them up as the pope on their first Halloween).

Also prior to the @washingtonspirit.com for their Trinity Rodman hair braiding stations. Longest line I've ever waited in and so worth it.

I'm at the @washingtonspirit.bsky.social game and have an exact picture of the Trinity Rodman goal. She was not offside. Chawinga was in front. #nwsl

#catholicwomenstrike sets out to make the invisible visible, focusing attention on women's labor in the church. While the church leaders keep kicking the can on women's ordination, women are preemptively gave a "no"
