Also, can we talk about how dolls (a "girls" toy) are the specific item mentioned. It's yet another example of how women and girls are told they buy too many things even though men spend just as much (sometimes more).

The number of kids who are going to have to go from 30 to 2 dolls is miniscule compared to the kids who go hungry each day.

I think what many people voted for is permission to say all of the mean, terrible things they think out loud without having to feel bad about it.
Folks, I see a lot of you recently feeling free to use some variation of the "R" word for mentally disabled, including appending the last four letters as suffix to describe people you don't like. I'm not down with that, so if you do it in my comments, I'm gonna hide that shit at least. Be better.

As a person who has always just wanted all people to be valued, cared for, and have a chance at living a decent, safe life, it's hard for me to watch the hatred, fear, and selfishness that has taken over.
