Retired, love to sew and tinker with vintage sewing machines. Gardener and lover of all things green and growing (except some weeds).
Apparently we do, because people vote for politicians who only offer "thoughts and prayers" instead of real solutions.

What do you do with the wool from this gang?

This is a "vintage inspired" machine, not even close to vintage!
Description is metal body but doesn't say what the gears are made of. Might be fine. I just sold a Singer Heavy Duty from about 10 years ago; not a bad machine but nothing like sewing on my vintage Singer 201-2, and others.

Does the new baby have a name yet?

Agreed. Speculation: IV furosemide which is given for heart failure. Would explain the "cankles".

Dialysis requires a large catheter with two access ports. It would be concealed under his shirt.

Thank you for this! A wonderful idea! A shift in focus from acquisition of "things" to tending to relationships with other beings would be a good start in calming the storms around us.

NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen.

Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.

HOLD THE LINE!! Please Please do not give in to the republicans and certainly don't trust them to negotiate honestly. A "future vote" on "healthcare" won't materialize.
We are counting on you!!!

I couldn't have said it better. There will be no forgiveness if you cave to the republicans about this.

I have been following your posts and as a fellow Wisconsinite, understand some of your background. I wanted to say I am so glad you returned safely! As we head into winter and you head into summer, I look forward to hearing about and seeing photos of your beautiful farm and animals ❤️

Oh! I forgot to add that the access plate for my 66 is ornate; it came with a single blackside bobbin... I can check the motor number soon and update.

I have a Singer 66 Crinkle finish: Model AG669668 from April 8, 1946. 15000 were made. I think this is a 66-14. It is not a 66-16 as it has a spoked wheel. And was clearly originally a treadle.
Took the motor/motor boss and light off; wiring was crumbling. back into a treadle; it works great!

Yep. Born 1955. Parents made sure we got all the vaccines as they came out. I did the same for my kids, so they never got chicken pox, HPV, Hepatitis B, and of course all the other vaccine preventable illnesses.

And cool to get a pinking attachment; I’ve never seen one of those. The reason my 66 wouldn’t turn was the nest of thread around the bobbin case. So satisfying to removes those things!!

lol cellar spiders. I did get one of those cute little kenmore 158.10301 with the rose case once with a *live* spider in the case. Filthy too but now sews nicely.
