I kept getting mild Fifth Element vibes. Kept thinking it had to get better. And then it was over. I almost watched it again to see if I’d missed anything.

I lived in Redding during the Carr Fire, then our neighbors in Paradise lost everything a year later. It was at least a year before the first homes were rebuilt in Redding. I moved away due to a lack of affordable housing after the fires.

Yes! It was on all day at my work. Every time we tried to change it, patients insisted we turn it back on and turn up the volume. They were smiling and cheering at the TV. I’ve never heard so much ass-kissing and lies.
