It’s strange the sense of loss one feels after the passing of someone not seen in many decades. Yet, as I write this, I am heartbroken at the loss of a dear cousin who I was very fond of. R.I.P., Cousin Tom.

Let me understand this. Removing monuments that reflect confederate “hero’s “ is wrong because they reflect what was part of our history, but removing any references if transgender from a historical landmark is okay, because an executive order proclaimed it so?
