I am a climate scientist and this is correct ⬇️
Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

I just recently read that the "Fighting Irish" got their name in part for the student body's fight against the KKK. That's a history to be proud so I'm happy to cheer for them.
From @theathletic.bsky.social: Alongside the Yankees, Cowboys and Duke basketball, Notre Dame football occupies an exclusive place in sports: Love ’em or hate ’em, you can’t ignore ’em. But something seems different this year. Are the Irish... likable? nyti.ms/4absLmf
Is Notre Dame football likable now?
In this CFP, the Irish are winning over some people. Or maybe they're just benefitting from the distaste many feel for their opponents.

I've been in the classroom during an active shooter drill, and I've never been so saddened and disappointed in my country. What matters more than our children? Our millionaires and gun lobbyists I guess 😔
We taught an entire generation of kids to hide from death between math and recess — now we’re clutching our Patagonia vests because they don’t shed tears over a healthcare executive who denied coverage to cancer patients while pocketing millions?
SORRY ABOUT YOUR CEO, BUT WE LEARNED MATH UNDER DESKS
A generation raised on active shooter drills is being asked to condemn violence in corner offices while their insulin-rationing neighbors die. The math ain't mathing.

On PBS Newshour, Heather Cox Richardson shared that voters who were not paying attention to the news went for Trump by 19 points, and misinformed voters went for him 3 to 1. The well informed voted for Harris 2 to 1.

Can we not be burdened to pay attention to what we're voting for anymore? 🤔
