Been meaning to read this forever and a couple chapters were set as reading for my MSc so I decided to read the lot. It was published in 1962 and I was shocked as to how much we knew then and how little has changed. I also wanna read a follow-up to it sometime!

Short but thought-provoking essays on a wide range of subjects that show how intrinsically linked humans are to nature. She draws from a wide range of sources and also her personal experience which makes it even more genuine and engaging.

Bit of a different one but I've recently developed an interest in tea and its history. I liked this book because it was a nice introduction to the subject without being overwhelming and the author's tone is friendly and welcoming throughout.

Originally I thought it would be more about the science of it all but it's literally the 'art' of classification. I actually really enjoyed the art-history direction and it made me think about how little we really know for sure!
