Kinda felt like it was trying to be too many things at once, but it was still really fun. First one was definitely better, definitely feels like a spiritual successor to Chucky in a lot of ways.

I'd always pick Better Off Ted and Galavant, but both of those have been mentioned several times already, while not a single other person has mentioned Reaper.

Since no one has mentioned it yet, Reaper. Very fun Buffy-esque, monster of the week show about a guy whose parents sold their firstborn's soul to the devil before he was born, so now he works for Satan capturing escaped souls from hell. Ray Wise played the devil and stole every scene he was in.

Fans aside Acts 1-5 of Homestuck are still really fuckin' good. Act 6 became kind of a bloated, confusing nightmare, but still had really cool characters and music. A mixed bag imo, but a mostly good one.

Liking a thing doesn't make you (or it) cringe. Even if the fandom surrounding it is.

Like it's not even just that the movies center around mostly human casts. Look at Up, the Incredibles, Coco, Inside Out. All of them are very visually distinct from one another. It's just so weird that nearly every recent Pixar movie has gone in this direction.

Personally I don't like the art style of these movies either (I don't think it translates all that well to 3D imo). But I think the bigger problem is that Pixar movies all used to have unique styles from movie to movie, excluding sequels. Now they all just look the same. Which is super disappointing

Can't unspoil the milk that is now drenching the cereal in the bowl, sadly.
