Here’s my latest effort to avoid doomscrolling - an illustration of an American badger (Taxidea taxus) who is both adorable and terrifying.

I lost so many hours to this one! 💙

This cat rarely sits in my lap during the day, except of course if I’m #crocheting 🫠🧶🐈

I somehow got myself into the sea slug side of the sky and keep seeing all the cute nudibranch photos and illustrations. I love them! Here are some nudibranchs I drew two years ago for a fabric design. #nudivember

My college kid is reading Dante “just for fun” while on Thanksgiving break. I have no idea where he gets his sense of humor lol

Recently finished this #crochet project and I’m so happy with how it turned out. It’s an asymmetrical sideways shawl freehanded in Malabrigo sock. Every few rows I changed the stitch so it’s a sampler without looking like a typical sampler. It’s super lightweight and soft! 🧶 🥰 #FiberArt

Would you like to see a little mouse I drew? I think it’s kinda cute and maybe you will too. #illustration #NoAI

Current crochet WIP - freehand wrap worked sideways in superwash sock weight held double. I love using black yarn but it’s so much easier to see the stitches when it’s paired with a lighter color.

Wait, is this going to be the place where we can post all the cats? I really hope so. These are my cats Chili and Pepper. I have not seen them in a week and a half and I miss them too much.

I visited my mother in Maine recently and she saved these big pieces of tree bark she found in our woods because she knew I’d want to photograph and draw them. She’s the best. 💜🥰
