Today was the last day on earth for my beloved Max. He lived on the streets for years until a Southern Illinois Humane Society rescued him from under someone’s house. I was lucky enough to adopt him on July 14th of 2022 and nurse him back to health for 3 years and 2 months

I agree wholeheartedly! Second best thing is dog lovers. My dog escaped from the backyard and was taking a stroll on my busy street.He was rescued by 2 dog lovers who stopped their car when they saw him and guided him back to my door. My Max is on left and their dogs on right side.
