Ah, thank you for the tip. We even went to the Neues museum and didn't see anything about this! MB was delighted to find a notice in place of one Egyptian exhibit that said it was temporarily unavailable as lent to the Fitzwilliam in Cambridge

I'm on the other side of the fence; as an author, I create the brief for illustrators. One of the more bizarre was probably for a Stegosaurus in a tutu. But recently there's been sobbing vegetables attending the funeral of an onion in an onion-shaped coffin

These are not examples of cheap products. I'm sure people who buy Heck and Gu will not be bothered about 1p or 2p. Cheaper brands might use better packaging to avoid a price rise. The people buying Gu pots can pay a tax that can help remedy the problems caused by waste, or choose other brands
