If you claim to be a Christian and are complaining about a Bishop talking about mercy at a church service, you might want to re-evaluate whether you are really a Christian. Because mercy is a pretty important Christian value.

Finished book #1 for 2025. I really enjoyed this one. I read a lot of biographies but this might be my first one about a figure from Chinese history.

Why do I always cry at the end of a Great British Bakeoff season? I was even spoiled regarding the winner. Such a lovely show. Need more like it on TV.

I have been doing less doom scrolling, watching TV news less (almost not at all, just enough to be informed) and reading books more. This tradeoff is great for my mental health.
